Rescue & EFR Course - PADI

Challenging and rewarding best describes the PADI Rescue Diver Course. This class will expand your knowledge and experience level as divers learn to look beyond themselves to consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is a challenge, it is a rewarding way to build self confidence as it will prepare you to recognize diver problems and manage diving emergencies. Many divers consider this is the best course they've ever taken.

The PADI Rescue Diver Course is divided in to two parts - the PADI on-line theory and the practical in-water training.

The theory is achieved through the PADI e-learning program which allows you to login to your account on-line and complete all the theory in your own time - there is no need to spend valuable time in a classroom whilst on vacation! To get started, purchase your eLearning Access Pass by clicking on this link to the PADI website.

During the course you will be trained in self-rescue and how to recognize diver stress, emergency management procedures and equipment, how to respond to a panicked diver in distress and in-water rescue breathing protocols. During the final part of the course you will act out two diving emergency scenarios where you will put in to practice what you have been taught. The schedule is typically three afternoon sessions from our shore diving centre in George Town.

What's the next step in my dive adventures? PADI Master Scuba Diver or begin your Professional level training - PADI Divemaster.

Please review the PADI Medical Questionnaire prior to enrolling in any PADI training course. If you answer "YES" to any of the medical issues it does not necessarily disqualify you from Scuba Diving - it just means your pre-existing condition could possibly affect your safety while diving and you must seek your Physician's approval to dive.
